When it comes to program evaluation, we are true believers. Specifically, we believe that:

¯         Evaluation can and should be a “win-win” proposition, offering clear benefits for staff, management, clients / constituents, funders and the community at large

¯         Evaluation can and should be smoothly (& relatively painlessly!) integrated into agency operations

¯         Evaluation can and should be designed to help organizations and their constituents succeed. For this reason, process evaluation — evaluation designed to help an organization improve its programming — is as important as evaluation that examines the outcomes of its efforts.

¯         Evaluation should never become more important than the critical work of implementing programs; instead, it should be viewed as an important adjunct activity that helps make implementation more effective.

We specialize in designing user-friendly, common-sense evaluation plans that focus equally on the destination and the journey — on measurable program outcomes and on the processes for achieving them.

We are also available to design more sophisticated evaluation plans (e.g., for community-wide health promotion interventions), to develop evaluation instruments, and to conduct evaluations that combine quantitative and qualitative methodologies.

Text Box: Evaluation can and should be a win-win proposition, offering clear benefits to an agency and all of its constituencies
