RRE offers training in a variety of topics relevant to all non-profit agencies — program development / grant writing, program evaluation, and organizational development. ¯ Our two-day training in program development & grant writing has been offered 7 times, to enthusiastic reviews. 85% of all participants have rated the workshop as “excellent.” Previously offered in conjunction with the Pennsylvania chapter of the Society for Public Health Education, this interactive seminar covers everything from identifying funders to working with communities to writing high-quality proposals. We also provide training in specialized topics, including Prevention for Positives (prevention education / counseling for HIV-infected individuals) and a variety of issues relevant to working with children and families (e.g., the dynamics of dysfunctional / abusive families.) Our technical assistance projects have focused primarily on three areas: ¯ Setting and evaluating measurable outcomes ¯ Designing and/or initiating new health, human services and prevention programs ¯ Growing an organization (e.g., transitioning from volunteer coalition to 501(c)3 status) In addition to offering on-site technical assistance, we are available to bring our established trainings to your organization or community.
